Hello polished friends! I hope you've had a great week! I know I did...the 4th of July was lots of fun and Friday and Saturday have been a whirlwind....lots of work, but I just love my job. I get to meet and interact with so many phenomenal people. On Friday, I even met Anastasia from Lac Attack, who happens to be from the same town as me! While she was back visiting for the holiday, she visited me at Body•Spa•Banquet, and it was so awesome meeting her. I loved talking with someone who spoke the same language as me! =)
On Friday evening, my business partner Stephanie and I participated in First Friday, which is a monthly celebration of the arts in downtown Canton, OH. It was so fun to be there and share what I do with people! So many older, middle-aged women literally laughed at the thought of "nail art" and kept walking. These are the same women who follow all the rules and only wear frosty mauve polish, you know what I mean? It's my new goal to spread a love and respect of nail art to the masses...even stingy middle aged women! Haha! But I got to meet so many great people and do some super fun nail art, and we raised $138 for Second Chance for Animals...a local rescue organization!
