KBShimmer Spring 2013 Polishes: Swatches and Review!

Hello everyone!  I am so thrilled to be reviewing some KBShimmer polishes!  These are my first ones from this brand, and I am sold...I will be ordering more!  =)  I have three shades from the KBShimmer Spring 2013 Collection to share today, as well as a review of their new Clearly On Top 2-free top coat!  This collection is set to release on February 15, 2013!  Let's just go ahead and jump right into these swatches!

First up is KBShimmer Squared Away, a mix of blue, pink, and holographic silver squares and microglitter in a clear base.  Here I have layered one coat of Squared Away over OPI You're Such A Budapest (from Euro Centrale) with Clearly On Top top coat!  Clearly On Top really does smooth things out nicely.  The formula, application, and coverage on this one are great!

Next up we have another layering glitter top coat.  This is one coat of KBShimmer Pastel Me More over OPI I Saw...U Saw...We Saw...Warsaw (ugh...what a name!) with Clearly On Top.  I am 100% obsessed with this combination.  I think the pastel glitters really pop beautifully over a dark shade, but you could obviously pair this with a pastel base color for a more traditionally "spring" look.

Finally, I have KBShimmer Where My Peeps At.  I love this name!  This is three coats with Clearly On Top.  A milky yellow crelly base filled with a variety of circle glitters and microglitter!  Again, a great formula that was easy to work with.  I didn't have to fish out the circle glitters or anything.

These polishes all have phenomenal application, formula and coverage!  I am so thrilled with my first KBShimmer experience.  The Clearly On Top top coat is extremely shiny and dries quickly.  With Clearly On Top, my nails are entirely smooth.  The top coat contains no formaldehyde or toluene, but does contain DBP, which contributes to the thick, smooth, extremely shiny surface that won't yellow or shrink your polish.  Clearly On Top works quite nicely with these glitters, but if you are concerned about its 2-free status, there are tons of 3-free top coats out there (but keep in mine Seche Vite contains toluene).
