I started with a base of OPI My Vampire Is Buff (I already sense a love affair with this polish starting!). I then used my It's So Easy StripeRite in black to create STRAIGHT lines in a variety of polygon shapes. I went in with my striping brush and Nicole by OPI Naturally and colored in a few of the shapes. I made sure none of the pink shapes touched each other. Once that dried for a bit, I added stripes in each shape, keeping things kind of random. I sealed it all in with Out the Door. Love love love how this turned out! So artsy! To see the phenomenal piece of artwork that inspired this manicure (which I of course found on pinterest!), click [HERE].
My poor right hand rarely makes an appearance on the blog...it usually doesn't get all the nail art love that my left hand gets. This manicure was no different. But I really loved the look of Nicole by OPI Naturally on my right hand in contrast to the nail art on the left. Sometimes mismatched hands really work! =)
Be sure to check out the straight-edge manicures that my challenge buddies have come up with for today! Their work has been blowing me away! Choosing only one to recreate on Day 10 is going to be so difficult!

uhhh SO COOL!!!
ReplyDeleteHi there! Quick question that's completely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My web site looks weird when browsing from my apple iphone. I'm trying to find a theme
