Day 3 of the Geometric Challenge! This has been fun so far...I love seeing what all of the other girls have been coming up with! I can already tell that it will be difficult to choose a favorite to recreate on Day 10! Today's prompt is triangular! I decided to use striping tape to create three-sided shapes on my nails (if you count the edge of my nail as one of the edges!). And I love the colors in this manicure =)
I started out with a base of the lovely Rainbow Honey Be Mine from their Sweet Talk Collection. This is a soft pink with a gold shimmer throughout that is just awesome! Once dry, I used striping tape to create the designs and went over with two quick coats of Zoya Ziv, my new go to gold glass fleck! Once it had dried a bit, I went over it with Out the Door to seal everything in. I thought about doing each triangle section in a different color, but I'm glad I did everything in Ziv...it's classy and gorgeous, if I do say so myself! =)
I've been keeping it nice and simple for this challenge so far, so I want to challenge myself to get more complex with the coming prompts! They're so open ended that there's plenty of room for me to push myself! Can't wait to see what triangular designs my challenge buddies came up with today!! Be sure to check them out!
