Hello friends! Hope your weeks are starting off well. Mine is going pretty good...getting a facial today (perks of working with spa professionals!) so the day can be nothing but good! I have some swatches for you today of the China Glaze Avant Garden Collection for Spring 2013. This collection hasn't gotten too much hype, but I think it is a really solid spring collection, and I'm excited to have six to review for you! There are 12 total in this collection, so be sure to check out The Nail Network for swatches of all of them!
First on the list today, we have China Glaze Dandy Lyin' Around, a shimmery white polish. It was a bit sheer, but with three coats, it evened out quite nicely! If you love white polish, you will definitely want this one for spring and summer!
China Glaze Tart-y For The Party is a light purple creme, perfect for spring. This one was nearly a one coater, but I used two for this swatch. Look how shiny, even without top coat!
China Glaze Life Is Rosy is a rosey pink creme shade. Again, this one could have been a one coater, but I used two for this swatch. This isn't my favorite color, personally, but it has a great formula and is a nice shade for spring!
Next us is China Glaze Passion For Petals, a pinkish-red creme. It looks pinker in some lights and red in others. Another potential one coater, but I used two for this swatch. I wore this one layered under a glitter polish for about 24 hours and had horrendous staining that I've had a difficult time getting off, so be cautious with that.
China Glaze Budding Romance is a pea soup green crelly polish. You'll either love this one or hate it. I was excited to try this, but I'm not sure that I love it. The formula was a bit runny and it stained my cuticles terribly. This is two coats with no top coat.
Finally, we have my favorite of the six shades I reviewed. This is China Glaze Keep Calm, Paint On, a lovely sea foam green shimmer. So nice. This is two thin coats. You can see the staining on my cuticles from Budding Romance. =/
I really like these shades for spring and I love a good China Glaze creme polish for nail art! However, the staining I experienced with Passion For Petals and Budding Romance sort of turned me off. This collection is available now wherever China Glaze polishes are sold. Are you planning on picking up any polishes from Avant Garden? =)

I really like Keep Calm Paint On and Dandy Lyin' Around.
