More Shimmer Polish: Cindy, Linna, Lorene, Stephanie, and Tiffany Swatches and Review!

Hi friends!  Hope your week is starting off well!  It is freeeeezing here in Ohio currently, and it snowed a little last night!  But I'm getting a facial today, so no snow will stop me in my happiness!  =)  I have a great post for you today filled with some amazing glitter bombs from the super talented Cindy at Shimmer Polish!  Any opportunity I have to work with her, I jump at because her creations are great.  I know I said this last time I swatched some her polishes, but there is just such a classic quality to her indies, and I love that.  Let's get started!

First let me just say that the formula and application on all of these was great.  Glitter comes out of the bottle easily, spreads nicely on the nail, and stays where you want it.  Coverage is also incredible.  If you're layering these glitters over another polish, one coat gives you plenty of bling.  I've used Gelous top coat (does not require UV to cure, just a nice thick top coat...available at Sally Beauty) on all of these swatches!

Shimmer Cindy is a red glitter and holographic sparkle in a red jelly base.  This is two coats of Cindy on her own, with a top coat of Gelous.  Glamorous.

Shimmer Linna is teal green glitter with a splash of multicolored glitter in a clear base.  Here, I've layered one thick coat of Linna over China glaze Def Defying for a fun and funky combination!

Shimmer Lorene is a glitter BOMB!  This is two coats of Lorene without layering!  A pink jelly base packed with pink, gold, and multicolored glitters...this is girly, fun and crazy awesome.  I was thrilled to see how nicely it built up with only two coats! =)

Next up we have Shimmer Stephanie, a lovely blue and purple glitter with some red glitters and a holo flash in a clear base.  This is a great color combination.  Here, I've layered one coat of Stephanie over Nicole by OPI Back In My Gloria Days.

Finally for today, we have Shimmer Tiffany, a delicate glitter polish made up of light pink and light blue glitters in a clear base.  No big hexes here.  I've layered one coat of Tiffany over Deborah Lippmann Gingerbread Boy.  I think this would be a fun polish to wear to a baby shower if they don't know the gender of the baby because it's got pink and blue!

These Shimmer Polish shades leave me nearly speechless.  The layering combinations are endless, so each polish could be worn countless ways!  I'm really impressed with Lorene...I haven't seen anything like it before =)  Which one is your favorite?  Shimmer Polish can be purchased at Cindy's esty shop [HERE] for $12 and you can follow on Facebook [HERE] and her blog [HERE] for updates!

  1. I love the last look the most. I guess I'm feeling more neutral colors today. :) They all look great though.
