Happy Saturday, lacquered loves! I have some special nails for you today that are a part of my Holiday Nail Art Series. Can you guess what these nails are inspired by?
It's A Wonderful Life! This was my dad's favorite movie, and growing up it held a special place in my heart. Such a classic with an amazing message, I had to do a manicure inspired by George Bailey running through Bedford Falls as he realizes how precious life is!
Each nail started out with a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. I used the following polishes to do the scene: NYC Sidewalkers, OPI French Quarter For Your Thoughts, Milani High Speed Fast Dry White On The Spot, Milani High Speed Fast Dry Black Swift, Essie Power Clutch, It's So Easy StripeRite in black and white, Zoya Trixie, and mixes of these polishes. It's hard to say exactly what I mixed, because I was sort of in the zone! Haha! I finished off with NYC top coat to seal in my Bedford Falls scene!
I've included the images that inspired the design specifically. Hopefully this will help clear it up if you're unclear on the movie!
