Holiday Nail Art: Happy Hanukkah!

Good morning everyone!  Tonight is the first night of Hanukkah, so I thought today would be a great day for some menorah nails!!  I didn't grow up in a family that celebrated Hanukkah, but I had a dear friend who did and her family was generous enough to invite a group of us girls over for a sleep-over on one of the nights of Hanukkah!  It was so neat to learn about their traditions and light the menorah, and of course, play dreidel!  Staci, if you're reading this, thank you for those memories!  =)

I decided to do menorah nails, and the large images in this post are of the menorah all lit up, as it would be on the 8th night, however, I did a collage of the menorah being lit from right to left, which I hope you will enjoy!! =)

I started off with two coats of the gorgeous OPI Unfor-greta-bly Blue from the Germany Collection.  On my pink and thumb, I used one coat of Tough As Nails Blitzkrieg Blue which is a gorgeous blue and silver glitter which I thought would be appropriate!  Using my white and silver glitter It's So Easy StripeRite stripers, I created the menorah spanning my pointer, middle and ring fingers.  I used Essie Body Language for the candles and Born Pretty Store hex glitters in gold for the lit candle fire!! =)

To all of you who celebrate, I hope you have a joyous holiday over the next eight days!  Love to all!
