butter LONDON Scallywag! Swatches and Review

Good evening everyone!  Sorry my post is so late today...I've been working hard to get all my Halloween nails done since the end of the month is hectic for me!  I've been so focused on the next two weeks, that I didn't have anything planned for today!  Luckily, butter LONDON changed that!  I received two beautiful polishes from their Holiday 2012 Collection to review, and of course, I am obsessed!  The first polish I am going to show you is butter LONDON Scallywag, a gorgeous bright blue glitter!  Originally, I was planning to swatch both of the polishes I received and post them together, but when I put this polish on, I couldn't stand to take it off to swatch the second one, so Scallywag gets its own post!  You'll be seeing Scuppered soon ;-)

This is two coats of Scallywag with two coats of Out the Door top coat.  This is definitely a top coat eater!  I took the photos while the top coat was still wet, but a third layer of thick top coat smoothed it out nicely for wearing!  The formula is phenomenal!  It is definitely thick with glitter, but still applies like a dream.  I applied it just like I would a nice creme polish, and ta-da!  Perfect glitter coverage!

This is the kind of glitter I've been craving lately.  Opaque.  Microglitter.  Monochromatic.  I love it.  It is similar to Deborah Lippmann Just Dance, but the butter LONDON is actually more blue than the turquoise Just Dance.  And the butter LONDON is a finer glitter.  I'm happy to have them both in my collection!  I love that butter LONDON included a gorgeous bright blue like this in their Holiday collection.  Winter and Christmas and the holidays does not necesarily mean red, green, silver, and gold.  This is a gorgeous winter wonderland blue, but with a little added brightness!  Scallywag does mean "Someone who is playfully mischievous" which I think works well with this shade  =)  Again, butter LONDON does not disappoint <3

The butter LONDON Holiday 2012 Collection contains fiver super sparkly shades (in the US release at least!).  Fiddlesticks, Scuppered, Jack the Lad, Fairy Cake, and Scallywag!  For more information and to purchase, see butterlondon.com!  These beauties retail for $14 and are worth every penny!
