13 Days of Halloween 8: Happy Monsters!

Happy Friday, folks!  I hope everyone has a great weekend!  It's a crazy one for me but it'll be fun!!  Today is Day 8 of the 13 Days of Halloween Nail Art Series and I am doing happy monster nails!  These nails were sort of inspired by the Ugly Doll nails done by One Nail To Rule Them All!  She does some amazing nail art!  I have a bunch of her looks on my Pinterest boards!  My little guys are more happy little monsters, than Ugly Dolls, but the general look of the manis are similar!

I started out by polishing my nails with one coat of Milani High Speed Fast Dry Black Swift.  Love this polish!  I then used my It's So Easy Stripe Rite white to create the shapes of the little monsters and then went back in with some China Glaze Summer Neons and my mid-length striping brush to add color.  I used China Glaze Life's A Beach, China Glaze I'm With The Life Guard, China Glaze Beach Cruise-R, China Glaze Flirty Tankini, and China Glaze Splish Splash.  I then used Wet N Wild Wild Shine French White and Wet N Wild Wild Shine Black Creme to add the eyes and It's So Easy Stripe Rite black to do their smiling mouths!  Out the Door sealed it all in!  So cute!

These little monsters aren't scary at all, but I still think they are super fun for this time of year!  They seriously made me smile, and the shiny black background of this mani was gorgeous!  Love it =)  Which little monster is your favorite?!?!  Check back tomorrow for a much creepier Halloween manicure!  Click below to see all of my Halloween posts!
