Hello everyone and happy Monday! Today is Day #4 of the 13 Days of Halloween and I am thrilled to officially share my Graveyard Scene manicure with you! I entered this mani into iFabbo's Halloween Nail Art Contest...thanks to everyone who voted for it =) Still waiting to hear about any winners from that, but it was really fun to see what some great nail artists came up with!
I am quite proud of this manicure!! I completed it using a variety of techiques that I would have been terrified to even attempt a month ago. I started with a base of NYC In A New York Minute Sidewalkers. I love this gray...it's cheap, good quality, and it dries super quick! I mixed Sidewalkers with Wet N Wild Wild Shine French White and Wet N Wild Black Creme to create all of the other shades of gray that you see! I used It's So Easy Stripe Rite black to make the tree and details. I tried to pay careful attention to shadowing and how the lighting would look with that big gorgeous moon in the sky!
And who is that misty figure far off in the distance? EEK! Creepy!!!! What do you think of this manicure? Mixing up a gray scale pallete was fun...I think I will definitely try it again in the future, and I think it was a perfect way to go for a graveyard theme!! Thanks for reading today!
