13 Days of Halloween 3: Pumpkin Glitter Mix and Jack-o-Latern!

Hello lacquered loves!  I hope you're all having a delightful and frightful weekend!  Today is Day #3 of the 13 Days of Halloween Series and I'm doing pumpkin nails!  I had been drooling over some of the Halloween indie glitters I've seen out in the blogosphere.  Money's been tight, so I couldn't really swing too many Halloween shades, but I thought...I could make something that looks sort of similar to that with the glitters I have in my collection...and my "Pumpkin Glitter Mix" was born!

To start out, I used two coats of Milani High Speed Fast Dry Jiffy Orange.  What a classic Halloween orange!!  Perfect!  For my "Pumpkin Glitter Mix" I didn't really mix anything!  I simply used one coat of Jordana GLITTERS Green Glitz and then one coat of Jordana GLITTERS Copper Blaze.  It is definitely Pumpkin-y!  I used my It's So Easy Stripe Rite black to do the jack-o-latern accent nail.  I sealed in my glittery mani wit Out the Door top coat!

I like how this looks!  I was happy to use my Jordana GLITTERS in a new way!  Do you have orange and green glitters?  Will you make your own Pumpkin Glitter Mix??  To see my original post for the Jordana GLITTERS used for this mani, click [here] and [here]!  Tomorrow we'll take a closer look at my Graveyard Scene manicure!!  See you then!

  1. I love this pumpkin! I like how you recreated the look of an indie polish by creating a layered effect. Those Jordana glitters are amazing. Will you enter these in Jordana's big Halloween contest? : )
