Jordana GLITTERS #3: Red, Golds and Silvers

Hi everyone!  Today's post is the third of four in a series showcasing the Jordana GLITTERS.  I have reviewed a few of these a long time ago, but now I have the opportunity to review the entire 24 piece collection for you guys!  I want to present to you all of the options you'd have with these glitters, so the swatches I did are not traditional swatches...each finger is a bit different!  To see the red, silver, and gold polishes from this collection, click the Read More link below!

You can also check out the [blue and green] glitters, [pink and purple] glitters, and the [multicolored] glitter mixes!

All swatches of the layering glitters below follow the following pattern:
POINTER: one coat of glitter over Milani High Speed Fast Dry Black Swift
MIDDLE: one coat of glitter over Milani High Speed Fast Dry White On The Spot
RING: one coat of glitter over a polish of my choice
PINKY: three coats of glitter on its own

All fingers have a coat of Out The Door top coat.  I hope this way of swatching these glitters will really show you what you're getting if you purchase one of these polishes!  If there are any layering combinations you'd like to see on a full-hand swatch, please leave a comment!!  =)

First up, we have Jordana GLITTERS Red Flash, red hex and micro glitters in a clear base.  Pretty straight forward, but definitely something everyone should have in their collection for Christmas time!  On my ring ringer, it is layered over Wet N Wild Wild Shine Red Red.

Jordana GLITTERS Copper Blaze is definitely unique!  Copper hex and micro glitters in a slightly tinted, clear base.  I don't have any other glitters in my collection that are quite this shade.  On my ring finger, I have layered it over OPI Deutsch You Want Me Baby?.  Definitely nice for fall!

Jordana GLITTERS Gold Glam, iridescent gold micro glitters with iridescent gold diamonds and gold shimmer in a clear base.  I want to love this because in theory it is so unique, but the diamonds were just too sparse...you really had to fish them out.  But really, they are super cool!  On my ring finger I have layered Gold Glam over SpaRitual Solstice.

Jordana GLITTERS Funky Gold Town is reflective gold hexes in a clear base.  No complaints here, except the name is sort of stupid.  Haha.  To even the hexes out, a little bit of pushing around with the brush was necessary, but nothing too difficult.  I have layered it over SpaRitual Solstice on my ring finger.  I like the look of hexes on their own...super fun and funky!

Next up is Jordana GLITTERS Rhinestones, silver hex and micro glitters with a silver shimmer throughout.  On the nail, this appeared to be a sort of "dark silver" so I think the base may be slightly tinted, as you can see over white on my middle finger.  With three coats, it built up quite well and it also works well for layering.  On my ring finger, I have shown it over Zoya Trixie.

Finally, Jordana GLITTERS Galaxy is dark pewter gray hex and micro glitters in a clear base.  This is similar to Rhinestones, but a few shades darker.  Again it builds up well, but works great for layering.  I have shown it over Zoya Trixie on my ring finger.  I don't have any other layering glitters quite this color in my collection, so I'm happy to have this one!

Out of these polishes, I think my favorites are Funky Gold Town and Galaxy!  I wanted to love Gold Glam, but I was slightly disappointed by how hard the diamond glitters were to fish out.  Overall, this portion of the GLITTERS Collection offers up some awesome standard layering glitters that will serve well in any stash!

Jordana Glitters polishes are available on the Jordana website for $2.99.  I have also seen them at KMart!  For $2.99, these glitters are a steal!  Honestly, Jordana produces some quality products here, and really presents them to us at an awesome price!  If you're on the look out for some fun layering glitters, I'd definitely suggest this line!  Look out for my last Jordana Glitters post tomorrow!  And again, if there are any layering combinations you'd like to see on a full-hand swatch, please leave a comment!!  =)
