Jordana GLITTERS #2: Pinks and Purples

Hi everyone!  Today's post is the second of four in a series showcasing the Jordana GLITTERS.  I have reviewed a few of these a long time ago, but now I have the opportunity to review the entire 24 piece collection for you guys!  I want to present to you all of the options you'd have with these glitters, so the swatches I did are not traditional swatches...each finger is a bit different!  To see the pink and purple polishes from this collection, click the Read More link below!

You can also check out the [blue and green] glitters, [red, silver and gold] glitters, and the [multicolored] glitter mixes!

All swatches of layering glitters below follow the following pattern:
POINTER: one coat of glitter over Milani High Speed Fast Dry Black Swift
MIDDLE: one coat of glitter over Milani High Speed Fast Dry White On The Spot
RING: one coat of glitter over a polish of my choice
PINKY: three coats of glitter on its own

All fingers have a coat of Out The Door top coat.  I hope this way of swatching these glitters will really show you what you're getting if you purchase one of these polishes!  If there are any layering combinations you'd like to see on a full-hand swatch, please leave a comment!!  =)

First we have Jordana Glitters Pixie Pink.  This is soft rose pink hex and micro glitters in a clear base.  Definitely a layering glitter, sort of similar to Essie A Cut Above in color.  On my ring finger, it is layered over SpaRitual Unconditional Love.  It looks really cool layered over a metallic finish.

Jordana Glitters Magenta Magic is bright magenta pink hex and micro glitters in a clear base.  Another layering glitter with lots of possibilities.  Over black it looks similar to Revlon Scandalous.  On my ring finger, I have layered it over Zoya Trixie.

Jordana Glitters Confetti is a bit different from the first two glitters, as it only has hex glitters!  This is super reflective hot pink hex glitters in a clear base.  SO FUN!  I don't have anything quite like this in my collection.  It's packed with glitter and super flashy.  I have it layered over China Glaze Elephant Walk, but it would also look great over a variety of pinks or silver.

Next up is Jordana Glitters Fairy Dust, small round irredescent glitter and a dense soft pink shimmer (smaller than the micro glitters in previous polishes) in a soft pink base.  You can see the soft pink base on my middle finger where Fairy Dust is layered over white.  On my ring finger, it is layered over OPI Strawberry Margarita.  With enough layers (3 shown on pinky) it could definitely be worn alone...a perfect princess polish!

This beauty really impressed me over black.  Look at that shine!!  Fairy Dust over black is magical!

Jordana Glitters Celebration is probably my least favorite of this group of glitters.  It is small round lavender glitters with a dark purple shimmer in a clear base.  It is sort of sparse compared to the other glitters in this collection.  On my ring finger, I have it layered over Essie Nothing Else Metals.  This one may be a bit more exciting with a few more coats, but I wanted to stay consistent with the other swatches.  Eh.

Again, I've saved the best for last!  This is Jordana Glitters Purple Party.  This polish is definitely meant to be worn on its own...the swatch below is two coats!  This beautiful is a glitter bomb filled with deep magenta/purple, silver and multicolored micro glitters!  I'd say that there's equal parts of each kind of glitter in the polish, so in certain lights, the multicolored glitters really stand out.  I love this and am super excited to see something like this from Jordana!  I wish there were more like this in the collection!

Overall, Purple Party and Fairy Dust over black are my favorites, but I love pink, so I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of the first three pink layering glitters!  Which is your fav? =)

Jordana Glitters polishes are available on the Jordana website for $2.99.  I have also seen them at KMart!  For $2.99, these glitters are a steal!  Honestly, Jordana produces some quality products here, and really presents them to us at an awesome price!  If you're on the look out for some fun layering glitters, I'd definitely suggest this line!  Look out for my other Jordana Glitters posts in the next few days!  And again, if there are any layering combinations you'd like to see on a full-hand swatch, please leave a comment!!  =)
