Hi everyone! Today's post is the first of four in a series showcasing the Jordana GLITTERS. I have reviewed a few of these a long time ago, but now I have the opportunity to review the entire 24 piece collection for you guys! I want to present to you all of the options you'd have with these glitters, so the swatches I did are not traditional swatches...each finger is a bit different! To see the blue and green polishes from this collection, click the Read More link below!
You can also check out the [purple and pink] glitters, [red, silver and gold] glitters, and the [multicolored] glitter mixes!
All swatches of layering glitters below follow the following pattern:
POINTER: one coat of glitter over Milani High Speed Fast Dry Black Swift
MIDDLE: one coat of glitter over Milani High Speed Fast Dry White On The Spot
RING: one coat of glitter over a polish of my choice
PINKY: three coats of glitter on its own
All fingers have a coat of Out The Door top coat. I hope this way of swatching these glitters will really show you what you're getting if you purchase one of these polishes! If there are any layering combinations you'd like to see on a full-hand swatch, please leave a comment!! =)
First up is Jordana Glitters Celestial. Celestial is turquoise blue hex and micro glitters in a clear base. Definitely a layering glitter. On the ring finger, I have it layered of China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise.
Jordana Glitters Blue Bash is bright blue hex and micro glitters in a slightly blue base (you can see that the base is tinted when layered over white). On my ring finger, it is layered over OPI No Room For The Blues.
Jordana Glitters LA City Lights seems to be a dupe of Milani One Coat Glitter Twinkle. This is small blue and purple glitters in a clear base. On my ring finger it is layered over Cult Nails Time Traveler, and that was a yummy combo.
Next up is Jordana Glitters Green Glitz, small round and micro green glitters in a clear base. Again, this is definitely a layering polish. On my ring finger, I have it layered over Essie Mojito Madness. I think I will definitely pull this one out at Christmas and St. Patrick's Day!
Jordana Glitters Cosmic should have a mermaid-related name! This is blue, green, and silver hexes and blue micro glitter in a clear base. I have layered it over Essie Go Overboard. Beautiful.
Now, this is my favorite in this part of the collection...something I wasn't really expecting to see here. This is Jordana Glitters Carnival! Green, blue and silver hexes and blue micro glitter in a deep blue jelly base. This is three coats of polish. The formula was sort of thick, but the beauty of the polish makes up for it!! This polish is very Deborah Lippmann-esque! Love it!! I just wish it had a better name than Carnival...
Carnival and Celestial are my favorites out of this collection! Which ones are your favs? =)
Jordana Glitters polishes are available on the Jordana website for $2.99. I have also seen them at KMart! For $2.99, these glitters are a steal! Honestly, Jordana produces some quality products here, and really presents them to us at an awesome price! If you're on the look out for some fun layering glitters, I'd definitely suggest this line! Look out for my other Jordana Glitters posts in the next few days! And again, if there are any layering combinations you'd like to see on a full-hand swatch, please leave a comment!! =)
