My next task is to organize each brand by collection and color...yikes! Sounds like quite a task! How do you organize your stash?!
In a bunch of little cases from dollar tree. Maybe not the best choice but it serves the purpose.
ReplyDeleteMy stuff is kind of everywhere really. Lol. I have 2 of those 2 layer Snapware containers from Target that hold a majority of my stash. And I have a shelf that has my untrieds lined up and in my old Birchbox boxes (they're very useful!). Plus I have some of my polish out on display on some decorative shelving I have on my bookcase.
ReplyDeleteIf I had room for (or an Ikea near me) I would so get a Helmer! It would fit all of my polish, plus have room for other stuff in it.
I have two home made polish racks I made out of black foam board on my wall. 1 full sized(6 shelves) one and one 2/3 sized(4 shelves). Organized mostly by brand then color. But I have to put somethings on a random shelf when i dont have room on the current. It bothers me when i dont have enough room for 1 of a particular brand on the same shelf as the rest of them.
ReplyDeleteI have a art box from ac moore that has a tray in it as well. I use that for nail art supplies, cotton rounds, color wheels etc etc. I originally had that for nail polish then it quickly got out of hand lolol.
My Helmer is organized by finish- drawer one is top coats, nail treatments, and nail art supplies. 2 has glitters and special effects. 3 has shimmers/glassflecks/foils. 4 has creams and jellies. 5 hold the swatch sticks I make for each polish I get (like here and grouped by color http://www.polishedcousins.com/2012/05/annas-ridiculous-stash-dont-judge-me.html), and 6 is empty! Was your first helmer completely full when you got a new one, or did you buy it preemptively? Love this post!
