Neon Half Moons!

Hi everyone!  Some nice and easy nail art for you today!  I love the combination of neutrals and neons and I decided to do half moons with that theme!  I painted my nails white and then did two coats of China Glaze Celtic Sun (Neon) (painting a neon over white helps it to pop).  Then, using reinforcement stickers, I painted my nails with Julep Alyson to make the half moons.  I topped it off with a top coat of NYC.

I got tons of complements on this...I don't know why...it's not like it was bright or anything! ;-)

What do you think of this color scheme?  What are your favorite shocking color combinations for half moons?  <3

  1. I like the colours you picked. x

  2. That colours are perfect together :)

  3. I haven't tried half moons yet since I need to pick up some reinforcers but I adore gray with any type of bright color, particularly yellow or pink. Love the colors you picked!

  4. I tried some today - just because yours looked so cool. I think I did them backwards...tried to free-and the crescent at the bottom. Oops. Its terrible, but the combination is pretty fierce (China Glaze 108 Degrees with Finger Paints Its an Original).

    1. I painted the yellow first and then the nude over top...I think it's easier that way! =) Glad you tried it!

  5. The colours are awesome together! I have only done one half moon, my caviar one, I for sure need to try some more!! :)

  6. perfect combination this two colors!

  7. I love the contrast between the neon and the nude! Looks amazing! :)

  8. Howdy! This post could not be written much better! Looking through
this article reminds me of my previous roommate! He constantly kept talking about this.
I'll forward this post to him. Fairly certain he'll have a
good read. Many thanks for sharing!
